Burrard Street & Pender Street

Two days ago I received a message about some quick n’ dirty guerrilla tactics used to shock the mobs as they pass through downtown Vancouver & Stanley Park. When I was finished work I busted over to Thurlow St. & Georgia St. on my bicycle to check out their work, unfortunately no over-sized six-pack rings nor the doers from Plastic Pollution Coalition or Rethink Communications were no where to be found.

Now that this news is two days old, I won’t bore you with info you probably already heard about, retweeted, or shouted out from the top of Grouse.

As such, above are the photos, below are the links. Take a gander and I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether these tactics are awe inspiring or awesomely bad.

Let me know (in the comments section below)  if you have any better ideas to educate the public.
